Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Al-Madinah Trust is a not-for-profit Islamic organization dedicated to establishing Islamic schools and institution that provide a balance education through the establishment of schools and institutions based on the Islamic belief system. In doing so facilities are being established through our New Zealand that will cater the above needs . Al-Madinah Trust is launching a bold new chapter in Muslim education in Aotearoa New Zealand. With the full support of our community and heritage, we are preparing to convert Al-Madinah School from a state-integrated school to a public Charter School. At the same time, we are expanding to two new campuses: one in Blockhouse Bay (Auckland) and one in Christchurch. These schools will retain our proud Muslim Special Character while gaining the flexibility and innovation that the Charter model allows.The two new schools will open as Year 1-8 schools in 2026, and add on a year level each succeeding year to Year 13.

Our Activities

Al-Madinah Trust offers a diverse range of activities that enrich students' educational experiences while fostering their Islamic identity. These activities include daily prayers, observance of Islamic festivals, and specialized Qur’an studies, such as Hifz classes. The school also emphasizes academic excellence through participation in events like the Islamic Schools Spelling Bee and bi-annual writing journals. Students engage in various clubs, including Quran, Science, Debate, and Art Clubs, and participate in community service projects, charity drives, and environmental initiatives.
